Some people have no idea of what to when they go on a mission. There is a lot of things they need to consider. Especially for people who have not tried before. You will be given some tips of what you could do once you get there. Make sure you fix your mind to be able to enjoy the trip. This is considered as the most rewarding job. Though, you do not give financial help. But the time and effort you put into it.
It gives you a lot opportunities to help others to learn new cultures and many things. Uganda Missions focused to a lot of things. And you would be able to encounter God. Your relationship with him would change. Because you would be closer to him. And not only sharing your life to them.
Most of the people in this area needs more help. Since they lack the education, far from civilization. You would be there not to give money but you can do more by teaching them. And share some clothing, foods to them. And not to forget to integrate the teachings of Christ. You can be the reason, they would strengthen their belief and build a great relationship with him above.
Once you arrive there, the basic things that are used everyday must be taught to them. Because it is very useful and majority of them did not go to school.They do not undergo the proper training. Skills could be taught to them to be used for survival and be able to earn a living. Once they learn, they will stand on their own and would not rely from anyone anymore.
There should be a sustainable lifestyle, this would be a great sign. Since they will work hard on their own and will not ask help. Especially if you help build the self esteem and confidence. Some of them are afraid and would think they could not do it. You are there to give them the assurance that everything is going to be okay.
Just always forget to pray for guidance and perseverance. Nothing is impossible once your faith is strong. And you would survive whatever problems that come your way. Because you believe that there is always a solution to the problem. And this is what you wanted to impart to all the young children there. Organize them and let them form a group. And preach the word of God.
If you live in other countries, get ready with your passport and other documents for your travel. Everyone who will go on a mission, must be clear with their purpose. And should do something for their own protection. Like if they would be advised to have the flu shots, make sure you do it immediately before the schedule of your trip.
You do not have to be rich to offer some help. You could join any organization that focused on helping countries that are not well off. Because you will find some generous people that will fund the organization. This is important to make the mission successful. Not all people has the determination to go to the trip. So they prefer to just give financial assistance.
