When it comes to addictions, whether it be food, substances, or toxic relationships, the first step is to want help. A person who knows that their habits may lead to dangerous consequences is likely to be receptive to getting the help they need. Even if the method is painful at first, they know that a professional can walk them through the process of healing.

Falling off the wagon is common but getting back on track immediately makes it easier to continue the progress made.
