Tapping Into The Secret Of Change

By Evan Sanders

The secret of change is to focus everything on creating what you can in the present, and letting yourself slip out of the past and the future.

How can we truly change?

I am not talking about the sort of change that lasts for just a couple of months and then we go back to similar things we usually used to do. No, I am talking about that everlasting change that permits us to advance with our lives and leave our old strategies behind. This is true change, change that will last forever. The secret is to commit everything you have in your life to building what you can in the present time.

The past will hold you down and the future will show you the greatest mirage of a spot where it all turns out. Both these imaginary places are stunningly deadly because they keep us from being in action in the present moment. Even though we can go there in our heads, we have to avoid living in these places at all costs.

Change isn't going to be simple. Consider how many of us try and make big changes the on the first of the year. In fact, nearly half of people that make New Years Resolutions fail by the middle of February. That disconnect is huge. So there must be something fantastically damaged with that technique.

So what are we able to do?

Focus upon one thing, each day, to make yourself a little bit better in comparison to the day before and do that for as long as you possibly can. Absolutely do not get obsessed with the quantum leap where everything changes all at the same time - it is a great lie. Focus on the daily tasks you can perform and in time you will change more than you could truly ever imagine.

Start the voyage of change at this moment, one step at a time.

Don't wait.
