You have got to really want it more than you are scared of it not happening.
Every day, we have chances to grow, change, and rise to the challenge in life. What may look like another day is really an opportunity to do something fantastic. True, most of the days we have may start off as ordinary, but our plans that we have for ourselves, if instituted, can actually turn something mediocre into something, well, incredible. It takes effort. Lots and lots of effort. Everything in the world will certainly be pushing you to just stay the same. Because that's where the great majority of us are. We reside in the middle. Not in the sense of classes etc, but in the sense of what we are doing with ourselves. When we start adventuring towards the edge, that is when things become exciting. Nevertheless at the same time, that's when the uncertainty of the future becomes bigger and bigger. You have to choose for yourself if you're O.K living in a place of heavy uncertainty and yet be committed to total belief in what you're doing. Trust me, it's hard.
Call it the universe, call it God, call it whatever you want to call it, but the fact still is the same. You are here for a sound reason and you have talents that need to be drilled into talents. What ends up going down though is that we worry too much about what other people think and we begin to worry that what we do isn't going to happen for one reason or another.
A great deal of the time, brilliant ideas die with the folks that they live in. People take their dreams to the grave and never see them through because they are just too terrified. Fear is the primary killer of dreams. This may be fear of failing, fear of viewpoints, fear of ridicule...nevertheless, fear drives one to shrink in the opportunity they have.
It would be dumb for me to suggest to not be afraid. Anyone that says that they aren't frightened should really consult a medical practitioner. It's what you do after being terrified that counts. Here's where true courage comes in. Real courage is that loony 20 seconds after being deathly fearful where true magic occurs. It's fine to be scared, but like I have said before, you have to want it more than you are alarmed of it. You have to decide that it's what you really want and then be white-hot and dedicated to it. Without that decision, you may flounder back and forth for forever. Decide.
Be driven by everything and everybody around you telling you...no. Make that your fuel. Don't let it bring you down. Let it motivate you to keep going. The people who make the most important difference in this world are those who do not let the external world effect their souls belief in their dreams. Defend your dreams with dragons, guards, and trolls. Do whatever you can to keep them safe and nurture that belief. You would be stunned by how straightforward it is to let a voice or an opinion dig its way into your heart and then slowly burn everything within. Only let people and words that continue your communicable belief in your purpose enter into your heart.
